Window On My 2008 Silverado Works Sometimes On Driver Door

If you hit the inside of the door panel a couple times it works.

I tested for power and its there at the conector when i jump the wires i can open the windows. Like anything else thats mechanical it wears out over time and the driver side window is always the most used in any vehicle. The 2008 chevrolet silverado has 32 problems reported for power door locks stopped working. Typically will go on for 3 4 days then suddenly works again. Even if i don t drive it and check it each of the 3 4 days. Pull the door panel then the motor and clean the apature and the inside of the housing. Replace it with one of autozone s durable and quality silverado window regulators.

2008 silverado hd 2500 the driver side door control panel randomly does not work. Now the power windows are starting to fail. Most of the time it works flawlessly but it has begun having moments where it does not go up or down. It always goes down but getting it back up is an issue.

I think my drivers window is possessed honestly. One of my windows rear driver side works intermittently. Opening the door and closing bad connection or turning the key off and on as to reset does not seem to change it. Its not slow it either works or it doesnt.

The window master switch has a lock out on it make sure it s off otherwise suspect the master switch in the drivers door.
